In 2026, HeyTutor was acquired by ESS, a leading provider of workforce solutions to school districts nationwide, in a strategic acquisition backed by The Vistria Group. It was the company I cofounded at 19 and ran as CEO and Chairman of the Board for ten years, and along the way we grew into one of the leading providers of high dosage tutoring for public schools in the country.

I'm actively investing and looking for opportunities. I write checks of $50K to $150K and back scrappy founders. Pre revenue is fine, but I want to see real traction and solid unit economics. I move fastest when a round already has a lead, or when there's an SPV looking for commitments, though I'm open to leading for the right deal. If you need more than $150K, I have a network of investors I can bring in.
